Concur is for patients who have already received an orthopedic assessment, diagnosis or proposed treatment and want an independent specialist second opinion before making a significant treatment decision. Patients must be older than 3 years.
1. Submit your case
Tell us about your condition and upload your relevant medical reports and imaging. It takes about 5–7 minutes and you can save and continue later.
2. Specialist review
A qualified human orthopedic doctor independently reviews your case, existing diagnosis, proposed treatment and relevant investigations.
3. Receive your second opinion
Your written second opinion within 24 hours, reviewed and approved by the orthopedic doctor. You can read it securely online and download it as a PDF.
4. Discuss it further if you want
After receiving your written report, you may request a separate video consultation with the specialist who reviewed your case.
When the 24 hours start
Your written second opinion within 24 hours. The 24-hour period begins once your case is complete and accepted for clinical review. If additional information is required, the review period may pause until it is received. The price is €188 — complete written orthopedic second opinion, paid once.
Written by a specialist
The second opinion you receive is reviewed and approved by a qualified human orthopedic doctor who reviews your original documents. Depending on your case, the doctor may address whether they agree with the existing diagnosis, whether they agree with the proposed treatment, whether surgery appears indicated, whether further investigations may be useful, possible treatment alternatives, urgency, the implications of waiting, and their overall conclusion. The report is based on the information supplied and does not replace an in-person examination where one is clinically necessary.
